Welcome to Roses, a bay with 3,000 years of history. Roses is a town with Mediterranean essence and a strong tourist and marine tradition.
It is located in a unique natural environment: at the north of the Costa Brava, in the Cap de Creus Natural Park, at less than 30 km from the French border, at 65 km from Girona city and 160 km from Barcelona.
Its origins go back to the 8th century BC, with the arrival of Rodis people and the founding of the Greek city of Rodes.
These historical facts turned into the identity signs of a modern, culturally active and generous population, the result of the coexistence with other peoples and civilizations, of which we feel very proud and satisfied.
