Saint John's Eve

Enjoy the shortest night of the year!

One of the most magic summer nights, the shortest of the year and at the same time a never-ending one. Saint John's Eve is already here.

Between bonfires, music and rom cremat (typical drink made of rum), you decide how to stare at the wonderful fireworks display; with your feet on any of the sandy beaches on the bay, on board of a boat which propose you to enjoy the pyrotechnic exhibition from the sea or view it from the Trinitat castle, where a guided night tour, a glass of cava and coca de Sant Joan cake are offered.

Once assimilate the amazing staging, laugh, sing and dance with the Banda del Drac. And for those who want to make the night longer, enjoy a drink and dance until your feet say it is enough.

 

Programme

At 9 pm, at Trinitat Castle: View of the fireworks from Trinitat Castle, with a guided night tour, a glass of cava and Coca de Sant Joan cake, in Catalan/Spanish/French.

At 9.30 pm, in the Catalunya square: Arrival of the Flame of Canigó and reading of the Manifest.

At 10 pm, on la Punta beach: Lighting of the Saint John’s Eve bonfire.

At 10.30 pm, on la Punta beach: Fireworks display.

Right after, in the Catalunya square: Dancing with el conjunt la Banda del Drac.
